Texas Health Huguley Fitness Center offers Combat the Holidays, a boot camp designed to fight unwanted pounds, to attack new challenges and to conquer a new level of fitness before the new year arrives.
Classes begin November 8 and will meet from 6 - 7 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays through December 20.
“The end of summer heat and the arrival of holiday indulgences makes this the perfect time to lose inches, to gain fitness, or to break out of an exercise rut. This boot camp provides a fun way to accomplish that mission,” said certified fitness instructor Taylor Guzman, who leads the outdoor boot camp.
Guzman continued, “Participants are often surprised at how much progress they can make in six weeks. We do something a little different each time to provide new challenges, and participants will enter the new year feeling stronger, healthier and more energetic.”
The conditioning and strengthening of Combat the Holidays can be modified for any age or level of fitness. Cost for the program is $75 for members and $125 for non-members.
In addition to boot camp, Texas Health Huguley Fitness Center offers various group fitness classes, personal training, basketball and racquetball courts, indoor and outdoor tracks, free weights, cardio equipment, and a Kids Klub. Its aquatic center, with lap and therapy pools, has recently been renovated.
Registration for Combat the Holidays boot camp opens October 31. For more information, call 817-568-3131 or visit www.texashealthhuguleyfitnesscenter.com.
